Biography

Grown up in a music loving family, Helen has been immersed in classical music since she was a child. After obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (concentration in Accounting), she decided to follow her heart and pursue her dream in music. Recently she has received her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance at Western University under the tutelage of Stéphan Sylvestre, one of the most sought-after Canadian pianists.


Helen enjoys both solo and collaborative performance. She has been awarded First and Second Prizes in the 59th Annual Kiwanis Music Festival (London, ON), the Kiwanis Music Festival of Greater Toronto (2018), and the Rotary Burlington Music Festival (2017). In 2018 summer, she was selected to participate in the AmiCaFest, Italy, where she had chance to perform in the student concert and played in the masterclass with pianist Enrico Elisi. In addition to solo performance, Helen has several years of experience in piano accompaniment. She had accompanied various musicians for their recitals, masterclasses, juries and competitions.
